Here's something we didn't expect to see: Julian Assange dressed up as an 80s rocker wearing a fake mullet and singing a WikiLeaks-themed rock song.
Assange, who is running for the Australian Senate, recently starred in a campaign parody video to support WikiLeaks candidates.
He appears in the video around the 3:30 mark. At first, he is dressed in a typical suit. Then, he dons some wacky '80s apparel and a blonde mullet wig and begins to "sing" a WikiLeaks-themed parody of the hit rock song "You're the Voice."
"We’ve got to make things leak, so we can get much bolder," Assange sang. The video goes black-and-white, and gets pretty bizarre.
Assange's part was filmed at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he has been confined for over a year. The Daily Mail speculated that "he may be going slightly stir crazy."
The video was made by Juice Rap News, a duo which regularly spoofs news events with rap lyrics.
