The "Fifty Shades of Grey" casting rumors continue! "Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23" star Krysten Ritter is the latest star to be tied to the film adaptation of E. L. James' popular novel.
"Fifty Shades of Grey," which now holds the title of the UK's best-selling novel of all time, focuses on the BDSM relationship between the successful 20-something businessman Christian Grey and college co-ed Anastasia Steele.
In March, Universal Pictures and Focus Features bought the screen rights for "Fifty Shades of Grey," and in the months since, a laundry list of possible actors for Christian and Anastasia has emerged. Early rumors for Anastasia included Mila Kunis, Emma Watson, and Ashley Greene. The ever-dreamy Ryan Gosling has been mentioned for Christian, along with Alexander Skarsgard and Ian Somerhalder.
On Tuesday night, Ritter retweeted an article about her possible involvement in the film, and took things a step further Wednesday morning when she replied to a fan that she would be "down" for a role in "Fifty Shades."
The film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" currently has no release date or confirmed cast members.
