The Love & Hip Hop franchise on VH1 draws in millions of viewers across its select cities the show is filmed. In New York, those characters are just as loud, just as entertaining and just as business savvy. Take cast regular Cisco Rosado and new comer for this season, DJ Self, the self-described Prince of New York. Rosado, to his credit has a list of musical accomplishments under his belt. He's a businessman that has made a name from himself in the hip hop world. As for DJ Self, the New York City radio personality with 107.5 brings his own dose of entertainment. What's common throughout the season with all of the men involved of the show, while each of them offer their own brand on the hip hop world, the also bring their own various drama with the women in their lives.

DJ Self, if you aren't familiar with his storyline was in a relationship with Yorma Hernandez that like many other television relationships seemed doomed from the start. Self, is a "self-made" man and being a hot radio personality in New York City comes with its fair share of women fans and followers. Yorma, just couldn't keep up with the high demand of women literally throwing themselves at her man and for that she ended things.

Cisco Rosado, started the season with links to BBOD female rapper, Moe. He was quickly introduced to up and coming rapper MariahLynn, who also had ties to his homie Rich Dollaz and if you remember anything from last season Rich and Cisco didn't quite see eye to eye because of Diamond Strawberry and Cisco saw an opportunity and capitalized on it when he got with MariahLynn to get back at Rich. If you're following me this storyline has lots of twist and turns.

DJ Self and Cisco sat down with me in Times Square to talk more about the show, their music career plans, and the women in their lives.

KM: How do you guys feel about the show and the way that you are portrayed in it?

Cisco: "I don't think the show portrays anyone. I think you portray yourself and what's going on in your life, you know. It's just my ups and my downs and you're going to see them."

Self: "Similar to what Cisco said, I don't think the show portrays you. People see just a five minute clip of your life and sometimes you might see the good minute of the five minute clip or you might see a down side of the five minute clip but I'm comfortable with people who really know me and you know, know the good and bad."

KM: Self, in the episode before tonight's you and Yorma broke up, so what's the status with you guys right now?

Self: "If you saw the episode you know we split up."

KM: Yes, but that could have been filmed months ago, what's the status now?

Self: "We split but we are still cool and I help her with some of her endeavors, whatever she has going on and you know I give her advice and help her out, different things like that. We are cool, it just wasn't good timing."

KM: Cisco, how did you come with the plan to involve MariahLynn in getting back at Rich?

Cisco: "I met Mariah at a friend's birthday party and I didn't know who she was originally, and we started talking and I thought she was a cute girl and it didn't come out immediately but we kept in touch and we she told me she did the record H-O-E. I was actually a fan of the record. Throughout conversations that's when I found out that I could use this to my advantage."

KM: Let's talk about the "Creep Squad" Self are you a part of that."

Self: "No, I'm not. They are my homies but no one put me down or anything like that."

Cisco: "I kind of started the creep squad. It was never intended to be a squad. It became that because of what we were doing and our interactions with women. Creep is just a phrase or term that I would use loosely and it didn't necessarily have anything to do with women."

KM: So because that's the perception that people have about it when do you say will be the end of it, the way the public sees it.

Cisco: "I can't speak for Rich and Peter but I know what my plans are moving forward in life but I think that the creep squad has taken on a life of its own and I'm cool with that. We aren't out here hurting anybody."
