A 52-year-old nanny was arrested Sunday after a hidden camera caught the woman allegedly slapping a baby.

In the video, Mamura Nasirova is seen attempting to feed the baby with a bottle. She is then caught repeatedly smacking the 5-month-old baby in the face and the leg before violently shaking her.

Another child appears to be looking on in the background.

A police official told NBC that the hidden camera was tucked inside a carbon monoxide detector.

After recently becoming suspicious of the nanny's behavior, the Staten Island mother turned on the camera. After witnessing the disturbing footage on a remote camera, the mother reportedly rushed home.

Nasirova is being charged with endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest.
