Matt Lauer is probably pretty happy with himself right now.

The "Today" host sat down with Pippa Middleton for her first television interview ever. Lauer appeared on "Today" from London on Wednesday morning, saying that he was about to interview an unnamed guest who was later revealed as Middleton.

The two spoke about her recent bike tour across the United States for charity, and what life has been like since her sister became the Duchess of Cambridge.

"She was riding in a bike event, and instead of me being able to interview her there, I had to fly 3,000 miles to interview you here," Lauer joked. "What's up with that?" Watch the preview in the clip above.

The interview will air on Monday and Tuesday.
