The folks at "Today" had a laugh when Savannah Guthrie and Amy Robach made a fashion gaffe on Friday.

They both showed up wearing the same shade of neon yellow. They flanked Matt Lauer, who made note of their outfits.

"This is what can happen when one of these highlighters explodes," he teased. "You can end up with a fashion statement here."

Savannah offered an explanation. "We're going to go direct traffic after this," she joked.
