In this photo released by the White House, President Barack Obama shoots clay targets on the range at Camp David, Md., Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012. The White House released a photo of Obama firing a gun, two days before he heads to Minnesota to discuss gun control. In a recent interview with The New Republic magazine, Obama said yes when asked if he has ever fired a gun. He said "we do skeet shooting all the time," except for his daughters, at Camp David. So you want to go to Camp David and shoot skeet with President Obama?

Well, unless you're good friends with the Commander-in-Chief, you can't.

You know where you can shoot skeet? The places in this slideshow -- just remember to have fun, be safe and, if you're concerned about conspiracy theorists, take lots photographic proof:

The Fairfax Rod & Gun Club in Manassas is more like a country club than your typical skeet shooting range. The membership fee is in the thousands and in order to join you need to be sponsored by two current members of the club. However, there are tournaments held at the club a few times each year that are open to the public.Fairfax Rod & Gun Club7039 Signal Hill RdManassas, VA 20111(703) 368-6333Flickr photo by JBLM MWR Marketing used under a Creative Commons license.
