SoCal Toytota Hires PR Firm Used By Paris Hilton 'And Other Troubled Names'

Toyota's Southern California dealers have hired a crisis public relations firm to get their side of the story to the public about the automaker's recall efforts, it was reported today.

"Dealers are being constantly called by newspapers and TV station. Camera crews are showing up at lots,'' said Norris Bishton, a Toyota dealer since 1983. "Dealers in general are not equipped to handle these things.''

Automotive News says the Southern California Toyota dealers have hired Sitrick and Co., a P.R. firm whose past clients included AIG, Paris Hilton, Michael Jackson, and other troubled names and brands.
