Firefighters have had their time in charity calendars. The taxi drivers want a turn.
Back for the second year in a row, New York City taxi drivers have banded together to pose for a humorous calendar, complete with center-spread style glamour photos. As with last year's calendar, a portion of the proceeds from each sale will benefit University Settlement, a New York-based settlement house that provides social services for immigrants and low-income families.
Phil Kirkman, the freelance creative director behind the calendar, told The Huffington Post in an email that last year's calendar raised more than $40,000 for the institution.
