The Republican Presidential Candidates Debate Terrorism, But Completely Ignore Gun Control

The recent Planned Parenthood attack, committed by a non-Muslim, was terrorism. The Charleston church massacre, carried out by another non-Muslim, was terrorism. The Sandy Hook shooting, in which 26 people lost their lives, was also terrorism.

The recent Planned Parenthood attack, committed by a non-Muslim, was terrorism. The Charleston church massacre, carried out by another non-Muslim, was terrorism. The Sandy Hook shooting, in which 26 people lost their lives, was also terrorism.

Yet not once did the Republican presidential candidates address the issue of gun control in Tuesday's GOP debate, a debate focused on keeping Americans safe. Not once did they address the fact that here in the United States we have more mass shootings than days of the year.

Not once did they mention the fact that guns have killed more people in the United States than all of our wars combined. Not once did they hold themselves accountable for enabling domestic acts of terrorism by doing absolutely nothing about gun control.
