Millions of Americans live in fractured hope everyday that Donald Trump will self-implode. It is common knowledge that had it not been for the fact that the Republicans are in charge of the process that could impeach him, he would already be evicted, and just a historical footnote in presidential history. While the masses count the days till his demise, they seek relief. Rachel Maddow, whose snarky diatribes have every liberal hanging on each word, offers relief in the form of accentuating the process of the Russia investigation, a probe that Trump himself claims is part of “Fake News”, and only in existence as a way for Democrats to relinquish their failures in the past election. Michael Moore has just announced that he is in the process of making one of his defrockumentaries about Trump. Depending on it’s release date it will either serve to help take the president down or add to the relief people are seeking through hope that the tide against what they perceive as dictatorship increases.

Trumping Frumpf is not a novel about Donald Trump. At the same time it is a fascinating take on impeachment that utilizes the many attributes of our current president and news stories regarding him to develop Frumpf’s character. Trumping Frumpf offers the reader instant relief from the current state of “Trump Anxiety” and focuses on the many issues relating to the Trump presidency. At a time when the world is on edge, this novel serves as the prozac of our current dilemma by making light of it all in a cogent, satirical fashion.
