Traffic to Newser, the news aggregator, has dramatically dropped from a peak of 1.6 million uniques to 565,000, reports Zach Steward in the Nieman Journalism Lab, siting Quantcast numbers.
Earlier this year, I interviewed Newser co-founder Michael Wolff. In his report, Wolff explains some of the reasons for the decline, citing changing "distribution deals."
