Three men are in custody Tuesday morning after allegedly driving into several pedestrians following a fight that started outside he Whisky A Go-Go and ended with a deputy-involved shooting at Sunset Boulevard and Doheny Drive.

A fight and assault were reported at 11:25 p.m. Monday at the club at 8901 Sunset Blvd., near San Vicente Boulevard, Deputy Jeff Gordon of Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau said.

A red SUV took off with three suspects from the rear parking lot of the Whisky, plowing into pedestrians on the curb, Gordon said. At least two people were hospitalized in serious condition at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to broadcast reports.

Deputies pursued the car and fired one shot, missing the vehicle, Gordon said. The suspects did not fire back and the driver was detained on Doheny Drive, just north of Sunset Boulevard, Gordon said. The three men were arrested.
