On Sunday, the Chicago White Sox traded utilityman Brent Lillibridge and right-hander Zach Stewart to the Boston Red Sox for some cash and Kevin Youkilis, who will play third base for the team.

For one five-year-old Chicago White Sox fan who says Brent Lillibridge was his favorite player, the news was devastating.

"He's my favorite guy," the boy sobs in a video uploaded to YouTube Sunday. "I want him to come back."

The video's description explains that the toddler began crying and ran to his room after hearing about Lillibridge's trade, and provided the above explanation for his reaction.

When offered the option to watch his favorite player during Red Sox games, the tyke remains resolute.

"Boston [should] never let Lillibridge be on that team," he explains more calmly later in the video. "He should be on the White Sox."
