Ray Felix & Regine Sawyer Pioneers In Independent Comic Books

One of the things that brings me passion is talking to people that are Change Agents and Way Showers. I had the distinct opportunity to chat it up with Women In Comics Founder & CEO Regine Sawyer and Founder & CEO of the Bronx Comic Con Ray Felix. Wow! Is all I can say. This was an inspirational interview. Regine and Ray shared how they got started in the comic book industry, the importance of adding literacy and education to their comics, their challenges, and their desire to break through the glass ceiling into main stream audience, ie. TV, Short films, Scripts, ect. Ray & Regine shared how it was important to them to have comic books out there that can identify with the kids that look like them. Ray & Regine are in town this week to host their panels at the San Diego Comic Con Event!

Take a listen to the interview!
