Born in Rahway, NJ to Indian immigrants, Gaurav grew up in Stamford, CT. He fell in love with volunteering in High School, and has done placements at the American Red Cross, East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, and Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery Specialists Foundation. In addition to being a part of the South Asian Student Association at Boston College, he served as the Co-President of Globemed at Boston College, an organization that fosters the education of global public health on campus and sponsors four interns to work at CORD Siruvani in Tamil Nadu, India.
