Judy Gold was nominated for last year's Outer Critics Circle Award for her critically acclaimed off-Broadway show <em>The Judy Show: My Life as a Sitcom</em>. She won a GLAAD Media Award and was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for her previous off-Broadway hit show, <em>25 Questions for a Jewish Mother</em>. A book by the same name was nominated for the 2007 Quill Award. Gold recently co-hosted <em>The Anderson Cooper Show</em> and ABC’s <em>The View</em>, where she has appeared numerous times. Judy recently appeared on <em>30 Rock</em> and will be co-starring in the series finale of Showtime’s <em>The Big C</em>. She is the host of Nickolodeon’s new show <em>Nickmom Night Out</em> and is a regular cast member of Tru TV’s <em>World’s Dumbest</em>. Judy hosts a monthly radio show on Sirus/XM called <em>Hatched by Two Chicks</em>. She is also the host of the <em>Funny People</em> series at the 92nd St. Y and is a frequent contributor to The Moth. Judy has been numerous times in Nora and Delia Ephron’s off-Broadway show <em>Love, Loss and What I Wore</em>. She was the host of HBO’s <em>At the Multiplex with Judy Gold</em> from 1999 to 2009. She also hosted Comedy Central’s <em>100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time</em>. She is featured in the HBO documentary <em>All Aboard</em>, as well as in the documentaries <em>Making Trouble</em> and <em>I Am Comic</em>. Her stand-up specials include <em>Comedy Central Presents: Judy Gold</em>, LOGO’s <em>Wisecracks</em>, Comedy Central’s <em>Tough Crowd Stands Up</em> and Judy’s own HBO half-hour special, for which she received a Cable Ace Award. Gold was seen in the smash hit film <em>The Aristocrats</em>. She won two Emmy Awards for writing and producing <em>The Rosie O’Donnell Show</em>. She was nominated twice for the American Comedy Award’s funniest female stand-up. She has also appeared on <em>The Wendy Williams Show</em>, <em>The Glades</em>, <em>Are We There Yet</em>, <em>Ugly Betty</em>, <em>Law & Order</em>, <em>Law & Order SVU</em>, <em>Sex and the City</em>, <em>The Tonight Show with Jay Leno</em>, <em>The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson</em>, <em>The Conan O’Brien Show</em> and <em>Dr. Oz</em>, among others. Gold lives in New York City with her two children, Henry and Ben. She frequently tours theaters and comedy clubs around the country, and she talks to her mother at least once a day.
