Kesha Morant Williams is an Associate Professor of Communication Arts & Sciences. Dr. Williams holds a Ph.D. from Howard University where she studied communication and culture. She teaches courses and publishes in the areas of interpersonal, family, popular and health communication. Her work has been published in the Journal of Health Communication, Journal of Black Studies, Sexuality and Culture, Howard Journal of Communications, Journal of Media and Religion, Journal of Communication and Religion, Qualitative Research Reports in Communication, Journal of Medical Humanities, the book Inter/Cultural Communication: Representation and construction of culture in everyday interaction and the book Race, Gender and Identity. She is the co-editor of two books Contemporary Christian Culture: Messages, Missions and Dilemmas and Reifying Women's Experiences with Invisible Illness: Illusions, Delusions, Reality.
