Kristin Szremski is an award-winning independent journalist living in Washington DC. She worked in the newspaper industry for more than 20 years as a reporter, investigative reporter and editor. Szremski had written about Palestine/Israel for nearly 10 years when she left her job as a news editor on a daily newspaper to try advocacy journalism. Since then she has been writing about Palestinian rights. Szremski also writes about her experiences as a convert to Islam and living life as a veiled, professional woman. Szremski is an active member of the National Press Club. She is also a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and Investigative Reporters and Editors.
