Melissa Lafsky

Melissa Lafsky is the editor of Newsweek's iPad edition, and the former editor of the New York Times's Freakonomics blog. She also writes the "Horror Chick" column for The Awl. She has written for the New York Times, the New York Observer, the Christian Science Monitor, and other publications. She began her writing career as an associate editor for HuffPo after practicing law for two years (and liking it about as much as most lawyers).
