Michael Lindenberger

Michael Lindenberger is a newspaper and magazine writer originally from Louisville, Ky., who is finishing up a John S. Knight Fellowship at Stanford University. While there he studied fiction, narrative theory and design thinking. He was part of an small international team of graduate students using human-centered design to solve complex problems in Sierra Leone and poverty-stricken East Palo Alto. As part of his work at Stanford, he's launching a beta-version of an online magazine called Places, dedicated to using long-form storytelling to decode the intricacies of the city in the 21st Century. Beginning in July, he'll be back with The Dallas Morning News as a Washington correspondent covering business and government. Lindenberger is a graduate of the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, writes frequently about legal affairs for Time.com, and is an enthusiast for bourbon, fine foods, and easy living.
