Will Guzzardi
Logan Square community organizer
Will Guzzardi is currently the Head Writer for the Office of College Admissions at the University of Chicago. He is also a community organizer in the Logan Square neighborhood, focusing primarily on educational issues. As a member of CODE (Communities Organized for Democracy in Education), he has been a leader in the fight for an elected school board in the city of Chicago; he has also fought to protect his neighborhood school as a field organizer for Logan Square United for Brentano.
Previously, he ran for State Representative in the 39th District, receiving 49% of the vote in the March 2012 Democratic primary. Prior to that, he worked from 2010 to 2011 as the Associate Editor of HuffPost Chicago.
