Redditor mapaquier may be right saying bats might not be "everyone's cup of tea," but these babies wrapped in blanket burritos may be the cutest fruit bats we've ever seen. The bats in the photo below were rescued along with over 100 others in Australia in 2011, but recently resurfaced on Reddit.
Fruit bats are also known as flying foxes.
Bat health has been in the news over the past few years after a devastating disease called white-nose syndrome was discovered in the U.S. in 2006. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has recommended that people stay away from contaminated areas and to immediately disinfect clothing after caving to halt the spread of the disease.
