Ben Roberts Surprises Dad With Olympic Tickets, Catches It On Camera (VIDEO)

WATCH: One Happy Father (Olympics Edition)

The video's title, "I took Dad to the Olympics," doesn't do justice to the happiness contained therein.

Ben Roberts' dad desperately wanted to visit the Olympic Park. But to even access the grounds, he needed a ticket to an Olympic event -- a ticket that he didn't have.

So Ben, apparently a prankster with a heart of gold, called in a favor, picked up some tickets to a handball match, and hid them from his father. Then he accompanied his dad on a trip to the Olympic Park's outskirts under the pretense of watching a simulcast of the Games on a big screen in Hyde Park.

At the last minute, waiting "as long as humanly possible," he busts out the tickets to his briefly confused and shocked, but ultimately overjoyed dad.

My Dad really wanted to get into the Olympic Park. I managed to get hold of some tickets from a friend, but didn't tell him. He thought we were going to look at the Olympic Park from a viewing platform, then go to Hyde Park to watch the games on a big screen. Here's how I stitched him up.
