Olympic skier Bode Miller may have five Olympic medals under his belt, but it's his heart of gold that's getting him recent attention. When Miller found out his friend and former ski team technician Pam Warman was diagnosed with breast cancer, he decided to include his ski helmet in an auction organized by fellow skier Jake Zamansky to raise money for Warman.

"Bode has always been an extremely generous guy. I remember him buying U.S. Ski Team jackets for the Development Team a while ago," she recounted. "No one knew where they came from. Bode didn't want the credit, he just wanted to help out."

The helmet, worn by Miller in the Vancouver Olympics and autographed by the athlete, is currently up for auction on eBay, along with items from Jake Zamansky and several other Olympic skiers close to Warman.
