It could have been a prank or an indication of young people with too much time on their hands.

Teenagers allegedly broke into a concession stand at a Fruita park and made off with $28 worth of candy, eating some of it as they scampered off and leaving behind a trail of wrappers.

But for one Fruita man, the events of one night more than a year and a half ago may have finally caught up to him this week and could result in a felony charge.
