Since escaping from Hollesley Bay Prison in Suffolk, England, Craig "Lazie" Lynch has been taunting police on Facebook with status updates about his steak dinners, potential girlfriends, and more.
Lynch, who was serving a seven-year sentence for aggravated burglary, escaped in September and has since been sharing his life as a fugitive over Facebook. In the "About Me" section of his Facebook profile, Lynch writes, "Life is what you make it, live fast, die young!!!"
His account, which has a picture of Lynch sticking his middle finger up, has included posts to his Facebook wall such as these, according to CNN:
mmm i just had a 12lb venison steak. Roasted veg and chips, bangin meal. I feel stuffed but still got room for the j.d's . Hope you enjoyed the meal babe's. We'll have to eat here again

The hotel staff haven't even clocked which was the only thing I've been paranoid about all day!
Police are following Lynch's posts in an effort to track down the escaped prisoner. A Suffolk police spokesperson told CNN, "Obviously we're taking what he's saying on Facebook with a pinch of salt because he's now aware that people may be reading what he's writing."
The criminal has teased police with updates about his exploits and adventures since his escape, writing,
Craig 'Lazie' Lynch just had bundles of fun on the ice in me motor. Pure a--- out action, but well controlled.
if it gets any colder durin xmas we'll have to stick the sun bed on as an extra heater we did it the other night it felt like the Caribbean in the bedroom ha ha.
According to CNN, his most recent post has taken a more somber tone:
well what can i say fellow friends. The run is nearly over. Sorry some of you had to find out like this. I know some of you might take offence that i never told you personally. But you know me. I Trust No One. Its the only way to be.
Another fugitive, Maxi Sopo, also used Facebook to taunt police with his whereabouts and lavish lifestyle, but was eventually captured after "friending" a former Justice Department official.
