Playwright and activist Eve Ensler is known around the world for her play, "The Vagina Monologues," but her latest hit, "I Am An Emotional Creature," has inspired a new MTV video series exploring issues of dating abuse, safe sex and other problems facing young women.
Actresses Aubrey Plaza and Jessica Stroup have lent their voices to the project, performing monologues from "I Am An Emotional Creature." Rosario Dawson, a supporter of Ensler's global nonprofit organization, V-Day, also joined the playwright for a series of interviews covering topics ranging from STDs to losing one's virginity.
MTV is encouraging teens to find out more information about topics covered in the monologues by engaging in their campaigns: A Thin Line, which helps teens understand and identify digital abuse, and It's Your (Sex) Life, which empowers teens to make safe and informed sexual choices.
