An F-16 taxiing after landing at the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture Convention in Oshkosh, Wis. on Thursday ran off the end of the runway and dug its nose into a grass field, tossing up dirt and startling spectators but leaving the pilot unharmed, according to WLUK-TV Fox 11.
The pilot of the F-16, who WITI-TV Fox 6 reports is with the Alabama Air National Guard, walked away from from the aircraft. He was taken to the hospital but later released.
