Reward Grows To $50,000 In Dodger Stadium Beating

CHAVEZ RAVINE (KTLA) -- The reward offered for information leading to the arrests of the suspects who severely beat a Giants fan at the end of the Dodgers home opener Thursday has grown to $50,000 after both teams kicked in contributions.

A rep for the Los Angeles Dodgers says the team will contribute $25,000. A spokeswoman for the Giants says the team will contribute $10,000.

The team's announcements came Monday, after Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich issued a $10,000 reward, and a $5,000 reward was pledged by the victim's employer.

Police say the assault happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Parking Lot 2. The suspects reportedly beat Northern California resident Brian Stow, 42, to the ground, kicking him repeatedly in the head.

Stow, a paramedic and father of two young children, is in a medically-induced coma and may need a frontal lobe removed as a result of severe brain swelling.
