As Hurricane Irene, which on Sunday morning was downgraded to Tropical Storm Irene, continues to make its way north, causing flooding, power outages and even more deaths, those in areas the storm had already passed are finally beginning to survey the damage she left behind.
Huffington Post readers up and down the coast have been submitting their pictures of the storm, sending in images of flooding in Vermont and North Carolina, wind-toppled trees in Boston and the empty streets of Washington, D.C.
