CNN's John King made an awkward gaffe during the network's coverage of the Nevada caucus on Saturday night.
GOP candidate Mitt Romney was declared Nevada's winner on Saturday due in part to his popularity among Mormon voters. The Mormon vote, which made up 25 percent of the total electorate, heavily favored Romney, with 91 percent voting for the former Massachusetts Governor.
As King further discussed Romney's success among Mormon voters, he mistakenly referred to Romney as "Governor Mormon" instead of Governor Romney." King was using one of CNN's touch-screen, election gadgets that had multiple graphics of Romney's face accompanied with different religion names when he misspoke.
"As you look here among faith, obviously Governor Mormon is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He's a Mormon, and he won big among Mormons. He won nine out of every 10 votes among Mormons," King said.
