A laptop stolen from a Riverside home resurfaced at a Cicero electronics store--along with a hint at the thief's identity saved to the hard drive.

Police searching a stolen Apple Macbook Pro recovered from an electronics store on Cermak Road found a partial, shirtless photo of the burglary suspect on the laptop in what Riverside Police Chief Tom Weitzel called an “arrogant act of self confidence," according to a police department press release.

Residents of a home on the north side of Riverside reported a robbery on August 22, where a window had been broken and two glass panes removed between August 19 and 22. The suspect was described as a white male in his 40s, the release reports.

Riverside Detective Sgt. David Krull said in a statement that he is "hoping someone will recognize this partial photo and call with information.”

Anyone who recognizes the suspect can contact Riverside police at (708) 447-2127, extension 284.
