These Affectionate Doggie Pals Will Make You Wanna Hug Your BFF

Reason #3,940,984 that dogs are simply the cutest.

Some best friends have a secret handshake. Others go so far as to have a language only the two can understand. But Lottie the border collie is a purist with her affection and loves to give bear hugs to Grizzly, her German shepherd BFF.

The pooches’ snuggles are so adorable, their last hug has gone viral, nabbing over 26,000 loops on Vine:

Best part? It’s not their sole hug: Lottie has hugged her furry friend for her 2,695 followers numerous times.

Hugs aren’t all these furry friends have up their sleeves (or under their collars?). They also take naps together, hold hands and have a little dance that’s sure to make you squeeeeeee:

According to ABC News, the doggy duo’s human, Taylor Duguay, of Ontario, Canada, taught 2-year-old Lottie to give Grizzly, also 2, hugs.

"Lottie has a knack for doing tricks and she loves nothing more than performing for crowds," Duguay, 20, told ABC News. "In my eyes, Lottie is a super dog."

Duguay may be right; a leisurely scroll through Lottie’s Vine account yields tons of quick clips of Lottie doing all kinds of crazy stunts.

Despite her amazing abilities, Duguay admits Lottie is just your average dog and told ABC:

"She barks when someone comes to the door, she's chewed a roll of paper towels and she likes spending her days taking naps."
