When reporting on Nelson Mandela's death Thursday, something was very off with a Detroit news station's tribute to the former South African president and anti-apartheid activist.
"Remembering Nelson Mandela," read the graphic during NBC affiliate WDIV-TV's broadcast. Next to it, however, was a photo of Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees.
At the end of the clip, the graphic switches to a photograph of Mandela.
