We met up with Rooster Teeth's founder and on-air host Burnie Burns to talk about the new digital landscape, which includes A LOT of people producing content.
Over 100 hours of footage are uploaded to YouTube every minute, which makes standing out a pretty difficult task. The popular Rooster Teeth brand has been around since 2003 and got bought by YouTube network Fullscreen in 2014. While they have built an incredibly engaged community through it's high quality and consistent content, even Burns himself doesn't understand how some of the younger generation of digital stars including Cameron Dallas can get their start simply by posting pics on Instagram.
So what's a good way to stand out? Probably just be good at what you do. Or abs. Have great abs.
