Robin Roberts is home again after spending a week in the hospital with a virus.

Roberts, who is still recovering after a bone marrow transplant she received in September, landed back in the hospital for a virus that wouldn't respond to medication. She described the ordeal in a blog post for ABC News on Sunday.

"Our immune systems usually take care of a virus like this ... but mine is only 59 days old," she explained.

The "Good Morning America" co-host stayed positive, writing, "I decided to look at my brief stay as a 'tune up' ... and then I would be back on the road to recovery. By the grace of God, I am! The virus is under control and my numbers are going back up."

It was a small bump in the road for Roberts, who is currently being treated for the rare blood and bone marrow disorder MDS. "GMA" will air a portion of her newest interview on Tuesday. Read her full update over at ABC News.

FILE - This Aug. 20, 2012 file photo released by ABC shows co-host Robin Roberts during a broadcast of "Good Morning America," in New York. Roberts has said goodbye to "Good Morning America," but only for a while. The "GMA" anchor made her final appearance Thursday, Aug. 30, before going on medical leave for a bone marrow transplant. Roberts' departure was first planned for Friday, but she chose to exit a day early to visit her ailing mother in Mississippi. In July she first disclosed that she has MDS, a blood and bone marrow disease. She will be hospitalized next week to prepare for the transplant. The donor will be her older sister, Sally-Ann Roberts, who was on hand for Thursday's emotional send-off. (AP Photo/ABC, Donna Svennevik, file) (credit:AP)
