March Madness of a different form hit Detroit on Saturday as teams from 40 Michigan high schools hooped it up in a basketball tournament played not by the youngsters themselves, but by robots they built.
The FIRST Robotics Rebound Rumble was held Friday and Saturday at Wayne State University, pitting schools from Flint, Okemos and Temperance against schools from Detroit to Pontiac and places in between.
