That's why the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) WaterSense program is getting the word out about water conservation. This infographic gives consumers some useful tips to prevent wasting thousands of gallons of water in the yard and garden. Public education is important to ensure that precious water supplies are available for the people and places that need them most, including firefighters and healthcare facilities.
