Department Store Delights

Barneys - 660 Madison Avenue
Fans of Baz Luhrmann's films (which include Moulin Rouge and Strictly Ballroom) will be in heaven here. Luhrmann and Catherine Martin have created "A New York Holiday," a glittering interactive series of images with a floating city, live performers, and Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Bergdorf Goodman - 754 Fifth Avenue
"The Arts" focuses a stunningly styled window on each of the elements that make our lives more beautiful, from Architecture to Theater to Music, all incorporating spectacular fashion!

Bloomingdale's - 1000 Third Avenue
Despite the address, the windows are all on Lexington - and as in previous years, they're interactive (download an app). The theme is based on various classic holiday tunes, from "Sleigh Ride" to "Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer"- and the songs accompany each window!

Lord & Taylor - 424 Fifth Avenue
"On Holiday" celebrates the 100th anniversary of the flagship store with a visit to a mansion with fantastical beings, including fairies and snappily attired white mice, and portraits of pets.

Macy's - West 34th Street
Christmas meets "Star Trek" with "The Planets," which has a young boy and his dog traveling the Solar System, even encountering Santa's workshop on Venus!

Saks Fifth Avenue - 611 Fifth Avenue
Another New York City-themed series of presentations, "An Enchanted Experience" places our favorite fairy tale heroines (Snow White, et al.) in settings we all recognize, including Times Square.

Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend

Harry Winston - 718 Fifth Avenue
Winston's classic windows are a tradition in themselves - the townhouse itself is adorned with lights that resemble the beautiful necklaces, earrings and other treasures housed within.

Tiffany - 727 Fifth Avenue
Think you've seen some of these beautiful animated Art Deco vignettes before? You may have - they're inspired by cover illustrations from The New Yorker in the 1950s and 1960s! Stick around for the light show on the side of the iconic building.

Van Cleef & Arpels - 744 Fifth Avenue
Not to be outdone by neighbor Bergdorf, Van Cleef is celebrating its 75th anniversary with images from the French fairy tale Peau d'Ane - stunning jewels fall from a magical skin to save a princess and entertain us all!

A walk through Midtown will take you through Winter Wonderlands! Happy view and Happy Shopping!
