UPTOWN — Police have arrested the alleged gunman responsible for a late August shooting in Uptown that left a teen boy in critical condition, according to the office of 46th Ward Ald. James Cappleman.
The suspect is "now in custody and charged for the shooting that occurred at Broadway & Wilson on Saturday, Aug. 31," Cappleman said in a newsletter. The alderman said the gunman is also being questioned about other shootings.
A police spokesman could not immediately confirm the alderman's report.
