NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Vanderbilt University has banned student athletes from a popular Midtown bar.

Tin Roof on Demonbreun Street was cited in court documents Friday in relation to the criminal case against several student athletes involved in the alleged rape of an unconscious 21-year-old student.

The documents revealed that 20-year-old Brandon Vandenburg was at the bar with the victim prior to the June 23 sexual assault at Vanderbilt's Gillette Dormitory.
