Self-proclaimed "virtual magician" Marco Tempest has crafted a display of illusions using three synced iPod Touch devices.

Tempest's spectacle explains about deception, which he says is his "favorite subject."

The performance build to an explanation of self-deception, which occurs, as Tempest explains, when the viewer gives himself totally over to the illusion created and allows art to become "magic."

He peppers the performance with sleight of hand tricks, seemingly pulling objects out of the iPod displays and into the real world.

To create his technological illusions, Tempest uses a syncing app called MultiVid, which he developed himself, according to the Telegraph.

See the magic unfold in the video (below).
