Daryle Conners

Written, directed and produced by Daryle Conners, J'arrive (On My Way) premiered at SIFF 2015 and won the Silver Spotlight Award. Beautifully shot by Yoann de Montgrand on the streets of Paris, the short features a brilliant performance by Marya Sea Kaminski (winner of Genius Award) and a gorgeous score by Annastasia Workman.

J’arrive follows a well-heeled woman, dissatisfied with her life and her marriage, who is faced with an improbable choice when she encounters her exact double and becomes convinced that the doppelganger is trying to steal her life away. A psychological thriller, the film takes the doppelganger genre and turns it on its head, questioning the very things we fight to keep and the stronghold of familiarity.
