I hope you spent National Coming Out Day the same way I did: being openly gay and feeling victorious about it, no matter how long you've been out.

In honor of the awesome holiday, I'm dedicating this week's edition of Weeklings! to my 10 favorite LGBTers in popular culture. Some are Hollywood royalty, others are respected authors, and still others are modern-day hitmakers who wear jeans well. They're all godsends to me. The point is: Come out. It's life-affirming and thrilling to be right about yourself -- and your loved ones should know that.
