Browsing Yelp's "Nightlife" reviews, pleasure-seekers can find top-rated entertainment venues in their area--from comedy clubs, jazz bars and dance halls, to gentlemen's lounges, burlesque bars, sex clubs and escort services.
Yelp's new "Adult Entertainment" option, catering to the 18-and-older crowd, lets users search and review erotic businesses and services the same way they would a theater or a steakhouse.
Curious customers can search for adult-themed establishments based on price, location and ratings.
Users can also filter results according to atmospheric features. Some options include:
- Full bar
- Coat check
- Good for groups
- Wheelchair accessible
- No Smoking
- Valet parking
The four star-rated New York-based Penthouse Executive Club, for example, has received 14 reviews from Yelp users. Opinions range from "slightly overpriced steaks and slightly overrated girls" to "Very clean and super trendy decour [sic]."
Yelp is constantly expanding its offerings. For instance, the site recently added a "Hipster" option to its list of "Ambiance" ratings for restaurants.
