Congress, I really think it's time we break up. In case you're wondering, it's not me, it's you.

Why am I doing this? Well, let's just say that you're bad for my health. I'm talking about the fact that a large number of your elected members just hate the Environmental Protection Agency, which happens to be very important in my life. Heck, important to my life is more like it. These lawmakers are pushing legislation that would prevent the agency from doing it's job: protecting everyone from air pollution that threatens our health.

Oh, don't play dumb with me. You know very well that over 120 House members and 18 Senators have cosponsored one or more bills intended to prevent EPA from reducing pollution from industrial plants and other sources. By blocking the EPA, the lawmakers would be allowing polluters to continue emitting unlimited amounts of carbon dioxide pollution and unsafe amounts other pollutants.

Oh, and don't think I haven't noticed that those "dirty air" lawmakers collectively have received over $38,000,000 from polluters, many of which have made stopping the EPA a high priority.

So, Congress puts polluter profits ahead of the health of all Americans. How do you expect me to feel about this? Well, that's it. Enough. I've had it. Its over.

Valentine's Day...and you're breaking my heart.

Seems to me like the best time to send you this message. I bet I won't be the only one!

I might even change my Facebook profle picture to one of these:

Or, maybe I'll leave some candy on your Facebook wall:

**Posting Instructions**

Change your Facebook profile Picture: Save any of the Candy images above to your computer, click "edit profile image" in Facebook, and choose the saved image.

Post to a Member's wall: Here are links to some in Congress on Facebook who are supporting some polluter's policies. Same as above, just save the breakup card or gray candy to your computer, then post the image to their Facebook wall. You'll have to "like" them to leave a break-up card, or some gray candy on their wall, but that is probably a good idea anyway because you should always know what they are up to.
