A California man has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Atlanta for sending threats to District Attorney Fani Willis.
"There is simply no trial court error to be found in the decision to deny disqualification,” the Fulton County district attorney wrote.
Trump had tried to get Willis and her office tossed off the case, saying her romantic relationship with a top prosecutor created a conflict of interest.
The Fulton County prosecutor denied feeling any embarrassment for her conduct, saying, "I don’t think my reputation needs to be reclaimed."
It’s now up to the appeals court to decide whether the court will hear it.
