The ASPCA hosted their 15th annual Bergh Ball at the Plaza Hotel Thursday evening, where celebrities brought along their pets to walk the red carpet.

Over 350 animal lovers including socialite Tinsley Mortimer, designer Catherine Malandrino, and local news anchor Chuck Scarborough celebrated the event and auction, which in 2011 helped raise more than $1 million.

Scarborough recently hosted the organization's Humane Awards Luncheon in November. His longtime co-anchor Sue Simmons, who will be exiting WNBC in June, was not present for the celebration -- but we did dig up this photo of Simmons and a lovable pooch from the ASPCA's event back in 2000:
