ABC's David Muir Nabs Latest Interview With Hillary Clinton

It's the candidate's fourth nationally televised interview in three months.

In her second nationally televised interview in a matter of days, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton sat down with ABC News’ David Muir for an interview that will air on Tuesday's “World News Tonight.”

During the “wide-ranging” interview with Clinton Tuesday morning, Muir asked her about the controversy surrounding her use of a private email account when she was secretary of state, her thoughts on the Iran deal and more, according to the network.

This appearance and other national interviews in the past few months seem to signal a change in Clinton's approach to the press, which has been notoriously tense.

The interview comes on the heels of a sit-down with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell this past Friday. In July, Clinton gave her first national interview of the campaign to CNN’s Brianna Keilar, which was followed by an interview with Univision’s Maria Elena Salinas in August.

The Muir interview may be part of a shift in campaign strategy after the Labor Day holiday, which Clinton alluded to in her interview with Mitchell.

Clinton’s interview with Muir will air in full on Tuesday’s episode of “World News Tonight,” at 6:30 p.m. ET, with excerpts airing across ABC programming.
